कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता अधीर रंजन चौधरी को पार्टी ने नई जिम्मेदारी दी है.अधीर रंजन तो पश्चिम बंगाल कांग्रेस का नया अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया है,बुधवार को कांग्रेस की ओर से इसकी आधिकारिक घोषणा की गई है. हाल ही में पश्चिम बंगाल पीसीसी के अध्यक्ष सोमेन मित्रा के निधन के कारण यह पद खाली हो गया था. लोकसभा में कांग्रेस के नेता चौधरी इससे पहले भी फरवरी, 2014 से सितंबर, 2018 तक पश्चिम बंगाल पीसीसी के अध्यक्ष रह चुके हैं. अधीर रंजन चौधरी बहरामपुर से लोकसभा सदस्य हैं.
