Bomb squad called to 'suspicious item' in Hailsham

Bomb disposal experts were called to a suspicious item in Dunbar Drive in Hailsham just before 10am on September 8, 2020. Homes were evacuated and a 100m cordon set up by police as the incident was dealt with. Just before 2pm that day the ordnance team declared the area was safe and the cordon was lifted.
