코로나19 확산에 국군외상센터 내일 조기 개소..."음압 병상 40개"

A military hospital near Seoul will open early and accept more COVID-19 patients starting Wednesday.
It's hoped this will ease the country's bed shortage issue...especially for the critically-ill.
At the request of the health authorities, the Armed Medical Forces Medical Command has prepared 40 negative-pressure isolation rooms along with blood pressure monitors and medical masks.
The center was scheduled to open early next year.
Almost 70 medical staff, including army surgeons, will be deployed.
The hospital already provided eight beds last week following a surge in the number of critically ill.
