SAHRC wants to understand how advert was commissioned

Clicks and American hair care brand TRESemmé continue to face backlash over an advert published on the Clicks website, portraying black people's hair as “dry and damaged”. In a statement the South African Human Rights Commission says the ad dismantles the work done, towards the realisation of equality for all. Authorities now want all those involved to meet with officials at the commission so that it can properly understand how the advert came to be published.
