Covid-19: Amid rising corona cases, metro services resumed

On Sunday, India crossed 90,000-mark for daily Covid-19 cases for the first time, the government asserted that the country also has the highest recovery from the coronavirus pandemic over the same 24-hour window. Delhi Metro resumed operations in the national capital today after being shut for public use for 169 days owing to Covid-19 restrictions. The decision to resume metro services across the country was conveyed in the Ministry of Home Affair (MHA) Unlock-4 guidelines issued on August 30. Watch this report.
