Svampe 1990 is a playful and mysterious movie about 9-year-old boy Svampe Nilsen who spent three wonderful summer days in the fiction world Irrburr. The little boy was met by two strangers near his house and taken into another reality where he enters the battle against darkness. This child movie is full of fantasy fiction and humorous absurd in way of children understand adults. The story alternates between fiction and real life. I would say it’s Norsk version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with a boy instead of a girl, and adults instead of magic creatures.
