Former Congress leader Sajjan Kumar, who is serving life imprisonment in cases related to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, has not got relief from the Supreme Court. The bail plea filed by Sajjan Kumar was rejected by the Supreme Court. During the hearing of the case, Chief Justice Bobde said that he does not have to be admitted to the hospital. In such a situation, we cannot give approval.

1984 के सिख विरोधी दंगे से जुड़े मामलों में उम्रकैद की सजा काट रहे पूर्व कांग्रेस नेता सज्जन कुमार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट से राहत नहीं मिली है.सज्जन कुमार की तरफ से दायर जमानत याचिका को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने खारिज कर दिया. मामले की सुनवाई के दौरान मुख्य न्यायाधीश बोबडे ने कहा कि उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती कराना जरूर नहीं है. ऐसे में हम मंजूरी नहीं दे सकते.
