Police in southern India's Andhra Pradesh arrested two men for smuggling 101 bottles of liquor strapped to their body.

The duo were arrested when police in Polavaram conducted checks as the men's movement and body shape seemed suspicious.

Officers found the 180ml bottles strapped around the bootleggers' chests.

The duo, identified as Devarakonda Srinivas Rao and Devarakonda Rajesh, are from Aswaraopeta in Khammam district of Telangana, a neighbouring state.

Police have seized the bottles and the motorcycle, and a case was filed against them under Section 34A of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act.
