Public restrooms made with transparent glass walls have been installed in parks in Tokyo, aiming to break the stereotype of dirty public toilets.
When the toilets are not being used, the glass stalls are completely transparent, enabling users to check if they're clean and unoccupied.
When the door locks, the high-tech stalls instantly turns opaque, so people can have privacy.
The stalls also light up the parks with vibrant colors in the nighttime.
Passers-by showed mixed reactions.
Some praised the idea, some were on edge the toilets might accidently go transparent, when not wanted.
And that does it for today's edition of 'The World Now'. I'll be back next time with more updates from around the world.
