Pranab Mukherjee, former president of India and veteran Congressman passed away on Monday after a prolonged illness. He had been in a deep state of comatose owing to complications following a lifesaving surgery. Central minister Jitendra Singh expressed grief on his demise. He said sitting with him was like an experience of teacher-student relations. We always learned from him. He had great knowledge of history.
