Heavy rains continue in Madhya Pradesh. Many rivers and dams in the state are flooded with water. Due to the rising water level, the gates of the dam are being opened. Due to which the risk of flooding has increased in many areas. Due to continuous rains, the water level of Narmada river in Hoshangabad district has reached above the danger mark. Flood water can be removed. For this, all 13 gates of Tawa Dam of Itarsi have also been opened. These gates were opened up to a height of 30 feet

मध्य प्रदेश में भारी बारिश का कहर जारी है. प्रदेश की कई नदिया और बांध पानी से लबालब हो गए हैं. पानी के बढ़ते जलस्तर को देखते हुए डैम के गेट खोले जा रहे हैं.. जिससे कई क्षेत्रों में बाढ़ का खतरा बढ़ गया है. लगातार बारिश की वजह से होशंगाबाद जिले में नर्मदा नदी का जल स्तर खतरे के निशान से ऊपर पहुंच गया है. बाढ़ के पानी को निकाला जा सके. इसके लिए इटारसी के तवा डैम के भी सभी 13 गेटों को खोल दिया गया है. इन गेटों को 30 फीट की ऊंचाई तक खोला गया है.
