Parivartini Ekadashi 2020: परिवर्तनी एकादशी पारण विधि | परिवर्तनी एकादशी व्रत पारण शुभ मुहूर्त

Parivartini Ekadashi fast will be observed on Saturday 29 August. According to Hindu Panchang, Ekadashi of Bhadrapad Shukla Paksha is known as Charanni Ekadashi. According to religious belief, Lord Vishnu changes his sleeping posture on this Ekadashi. Changing the position changes their location, hence it is known as Parlatini Ekadashi. It is said that by observing the change of Ekadashi fast, the fast gives the same fruits as the Vajpayee Yajna. Vamana form of Vishnu is worshiped on this Ekadashi. In the Padma Purana, Shri Krishna himself has said that the Vamana form of Lord Vishnu should be worshiped on the day of Parlatini Ekadashi as the Lord resides in the Vamala form in these four months.

परिवर्तिनी एकादशी व्रत 29 अगस्त शनिवार को रखा जाएगा। हिन्दू पंचांग के अनुसार, भाद्रपद शुक्ल पक्ष की एकादशी को परिवर्तनी एकादशी के नाम से जाना जाता है। धार्मिक मान्यता के अनुसार, इस एकादशी के दिन भगवान विष्णु जी अपने शयन मुद्रा में करवट बदलते हैं। करवट बदलने से उनके स्थान में परिवर्तन हो जाता है इसलिए इसे परिवर्तिनी एकादशी के नाम से जाना जाता है। कहते हैं परिवर्तिनी एकादशी का व्रत करने से व्रती को वाजपेय यज्ञ के समान फल की प्राप्ति होती है। इस एकादशी के दिन विष्णु जी के वामन रूप की पूजा होती है। पद्म पुराण में स्वयं श्रीकृष्ण जी ने कहा है कि परिवर्तिनी एकादशी के दिन भगवान विष्णु के वामन रूप की पूजा करनी चाहिए क्योंकि भगवान इन चार महीनों में वामन रूप में पाताल में निवास करते हैं।
