ओडिशा में पिछले तीन दिनों हो रही लगातार बारिश से जनजीवन अस्त व्यस्त हो गया है..बैतरणी, सुवर्ण रेखा, जलका एवं महानदी का जलस्तर बढ़ने से निचले इलाके में रहने वाले लोगों की परेशानियां बढ़ गई हैं.. कई गावों का बाहरी दुनिया से संपर्क टूट गया है... तो वहीं हजारों हेक्टेयर जमीन में लगी फसल पूरी तरह से बर्बाद हो गई है।
