In consideration of the wearing of face masks during the Covid-19 pandemic, I have been inspired to create a series of portraits where my subjects are covering their noses and mouths for protection. I have also used this as an opportunity to express beauty and culture even amidst the motive of staying safe. The eyes are windows to their souls. The message is subject to your interpretation. These pieces are a mixture of collage and painting all sealed up in epoxy resin.
