Dan Walker cuts off Gavin Williamson in heated BBC Breakfast row 'Stop talking!'

DAN WALKER was involved in a fiery debate this morning with Education Secretary Gavin Williamson after new guidelines were put in place explaining secondary school students will be made to wear masks in school.
BBC Breakfast was back this week and Dan Walker was joined by Naga Munchetty and Education Secretary Gavin Williamson to discuss the ongoing debate around whether or not students should wear masks when they return to school next week. Walker was keen to grill Mr Williamson about the decision and discuss the A-level results fiasco in more detail, however he became irate when the MP dodged his questions.

“We want schools to be returning in every part of the country,” Mr Williamson began.

“So, we are putting an extra level of precaution for students, parents and staff, which we felt was an important thing to do.

“There is a small number of areas in the country subject to local lockdown -”

Walker interrupted: “So it will not be extended beyond that?”
