On the Sitapur-Lakhimpur road, a high speed truck hit the tractor-trolley from behind at around 2.30 am. In the road accident, three people, including an uncle and nephew riding on a wooden laden trolley, died. Eight people, including a truck driver, were also injured in the accident in the Shah Maholi outpost located in the Kotwali Nagar area. He is being treated in the district hospital.

सीतापुर - लखीमपुर मार्ग पर सोमवार तड़के करीब ढाई बजे तेज रफ्तार ट्रक ने पीछे से ट्रैक्टर- ट्राली में टक्कर मार दी। सड़क हादसे में लकड़ी लदी ट्राली पर सवार चाचा-भतीजा सहित तीन लोगों की मौत हो गई। कोतवाली नगर क्षेत्र स्थित शाह महोली चौकी क्षेत्र में हुई दुर्घटना में ट्रक चालक सहित 8 लोग घायल भी हुए हैं। इनका इलाज जिला अस्पताल में चल रहा है।
