일본, 통역 기능 달린 마스크 만들어

When a man speaks into this unique mask in Japanese, his smartphone, translates what he said into English.
"It's going to be a hot day. How are you feeling?"
A robotics company in Japan has developed a face mask that can connect to a smartphone over Bluetooth... and translate speech into several different languages.
The developer says the app can connect to a mask up to 10 meters away.
Designed to help communication amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the company says the mask will allow safe and proper "social distanced" meetings.
With the firm already having received almost one thousand pre-orders in Japan alone, it plans to launch the product early next year.
And that does it for today's edition of 'The World Now'. I'll be back next time with more updates from around the world. Good bye for now.
