A car wash, a pub and a bakery all got tenders to provide personal protective gear to government, Parliament has heard. Standing Committee on Public Accounts was today receiving a briefing from an inter-ministerial committee, set up by the president to fast-track prosecutions against those who have defrauded the state during the COVID-19 pandemic.
