At the same time, on this day the pioneers who inspired others to take up this skill are remembered for their contribution.

कहा जाता है कि एक चित्र हजार शब्दों के बराबर है. मतलब जिस बात को आप हजारों शब्दों के द्वारा व्यक्त नहीं कर सकते हैं उसे महज एक फोटो के जरिए बता सकते हैं. और वो तस्वीर एक बड़े बदलाव का जरिया बन सकता है. इसलिए फोटोग्राफी और चित्रकारी हमेशा से मनुष्य के जीवन का एक आकांक्षा रही है. प्राचीन समय में जब कैमरे नहीं थे तो लोग दीवारों पर चित्र बनाकर अपनी यादों को संजोते थे, जिसका अवेशष आज भी हमारे लिए अनमोल है.
