திருவண்ணாமலை: சுதந்திர தின விழா மேடையில் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் திடீரென தான் நின்றிருந்த இடத்தில் பெண் இன்ஸ்பெக்டரை அழைத்து சல்யூட் அடித்து மரியாதை செய்த சம்பவம் விழாவில் பங்கேற்றவர்களை வியப்பில் ஆழ்த்தியுள்ளது. ஆட்சியர் மரியாதை செய்த அந்த பெண் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் பெயர் அல்லிராணி. திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் கந்தசாமிதான் பெண் இன்ஸ்பெக்டரை கவுரவப்படுத்தியவர்.
