74th Independence Day: These five countries also celebrate their independence day on 15 August. Today the whole country is celebrating the 74th anniversary of independence. India got independence on 15 August 1947. On this day of independence from the British rule, we remember the sacrifice of the soldiers who were martyred in the freedom struggle.

आज पूरा देश आजादी की 74वीं सालगिरह मना रहा है. 15 अगस्त 1947 को भारत को आजादी मिली थी. अंग्रेजी हुकूमत से आजादी मिलने वाले इस दिन को हम आजादी की लड़ाई में शहीद हुए जवानों के बलिदान को याद करते हैं.
