Govt has approved RM5.5mil allocation to build 34 taska nationwide, Parliament told

The government has approved an application to build 34 childcare centres (taska) this year at federal and state government offices nationwide involving RM5.5mil, the Parliament heard.
Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff said that on Monday, adding that a total of 45 applications were submitted for the grants to build the centres but 11 applications were rejected as they did not fulfil the requirements set by the ministry.
