Covid-19 update: Three new cases, no new deaths

Malaysia recorded three new Covid-19 cases on Thursday (July 16), bringing the total number of infections to 8,737 cases.
Two of the cases were local transmissions, while one was imported.
The two locally transmitted cases involved non-citizens, said Health Ministry director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
Dr Noor Hisham also said that 12 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, with a total of 8538 patients discharged since the Covid-19 outbreak began, or a 97.7% recovery rate.
