Asean and regional leaders held a third summit on Monday to discuss an Asia-wide trade pact in Thailand on Monday (November 4), where this year's Asean chair, Thai prime minister Prayuth Chan-ocha, announced that negotiations have ''progressed''.

The summit also discussed on disputed waters in the South China Sea, where Asean also hopes to set a code of conduct with China.
