भारत के 74वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस के मौके पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के भाषण पर देश-दुनिया की नजरें गड़ी हुई हैं। पीएम लालकिले से लगातार सातवीं बार तिरंगा ध्वज फहराने के बाद देशवासियों को संबोधित कर रहे हैं। पूरे देश और और दुनिया का निगाहें उन पर टिकी हैं। लेकिन यह स्वतंत्रता दिवस अलग है, इस बार कोरोना की छाया इस उत्सव पर भी पड़ी लेकिन इससे इसकी रौनक कम नहीं हुई, भारतीयों का संकल्प और दृढ़ हुआ है। पीएम मोदी ने सवेरे सबसे पहले राजघाट जाकर देश के राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी की समाधि पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की। उस समय भी उन्होंने अपना मुंह साफे से ढंक रखा था। कोरोना के समय पूरी सावधानी बरतने का यह पीएम मोदी का संकल्प देश को स्पष्ट संदेश है कि कोई असावधानी नहीं।सभा स्थल पर पीएम मोदी की अगवानी रक्षामंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने की। राजनाथ भी मुंह पर मास्क लगाए और सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग करते दिखे। उन्होंने पीएम मोदी का हाथ जोड़ कर स्वागत किया। सभा स्थल पर मौजूद अतिथिगण भी सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग का पालन करते दिखे।
