When asked if he was concerned who would be the next Prime Minister, Council of Eminent Persons chairman Tun Daim Zainuddin said Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim should be the next in line, according to what Pakatan Harapan had previously stated.

Tun Daim had previously been accused by a PKR lawmaker of being part of a conspiracy to prevent Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim from becoming Prime Minister.
