In a video shared on Twitter, national pencak silat champion Mohd Al Jufferi Jamari tearfully apologised to Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq for collecting a silver medal in the Putra Class E final at the Padepokan Pencak Silat arena in Jakarta on Monday. The three-time world champion lost 4-1 to his Indonesian exponent and withdrew from the remaining two seconds of the match, claiming it was marred by the jury’s biased decisions.
