Shafee: Rome Statute is not about sovereignty of Malay Rulers

Lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah said that the Rome Statute would apply to a Ruler who turned rogue only if the Attorney-General refused to prosecute him.

During a forum on the Statute on Saturday, Shafee said the Statute was not about the sovereignty of a Ruler but rather that of a nation.
