US, Britain, France launch air strikes in Syria

US, British and French forces pound Syria with air strikes on Saturday in response to a poison gas attack that killed dozens of people in Douma last week, in one of the biggest interventions by Western powers against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
