Bank Negara Malaysia announced on Monday that Tan Sri Dr Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah is no longer a member of its board of directors by virtue of the fact that he has ceased to hold the office of Secretary-General to the Treasury, effective May 14. Mohd Irwan was transferred to the Public Service Department from May 11 till June 13, and barred from leaving the country over the 1MDB probe.
