Activists from Friends of the Orangutans Malaysia (FOTO) gathered on Saturday to demand for the release of Lasah, a 36-year-old Asian elephant which they claim is being abused for tourism purposes at Langkawi Elephant Adventures. Two petitions for Lasah have garnered more than 400,000 signatures.
