Gold Coast airport to investigate suspected bird strike on AirAsia X flight

Gold Coast Airport says it is working with other parties to investigate an incident in which a Malaysia-bound AirAsia X flight was diverted to Brisbane after departing from the airport. Flight D7207, bound for Kuala Lumpur, experienced a suspected bird strike shortly after take off on July 3 night.
