DPM: PM will announce Dewan Rakyat speaker's name soon

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said on Tuesday that Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad will name the Dewan Rakyat speaker either today or tomorrow. Among the names previously mentioned as candidates for the post were former socio-cultural advisor to the BN government, Rais Yatim, and DAP veteran and Iskandar Puteri MP Lim Kit Siang.
