US Navy says damaged vessel will be salvaged

After a collision with a Philippine-flagged merchant vessel in Tokyo Bay on Sunday morning, the USS Fitzgerald with 258 crew on board returned to its naval base where a US Navy spokesman said that their ship is still salvageable but it will take some time for the repair.
