Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad hopes Datuk Zaid Ibrahim will stay with DAP and not jump to other parties. Zaid was previously suspended from Umno and eventually joined PKR. He then left PKR following a fall-out with the leadership and formed Parti Kesejahteraan Insan Tanah Air (KITA) and eventually resigned from that due to internal squabbling.
