Police won’t take action against those using poppy seeds in cooking, says IGP

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar says police will not take action against those who use poppy seeds or kas kas in cooking. He says the amount of opiate derivatives in poppy seeds or kas kas is too low and it would not cause any harm to those who consume it.
