Ground report: Monsoon rains in Kerala trigger landslide, deluge, red alert in 7 districts

Heavy rainfall continues to lash various parts of Kerala, resulting in landslide, deluge. The death toll in Idukki's major landslide that ocurred on Friday continues to rise. While the weather department has issued a red alert for seven districts of Kerala. In view of the spread of coronavirus pandemic, the state authorities have opened separate camps for different categories of the flood-affected people.

The massive downpour comes as second tragedy after an Air India flight with more than 190 passengers and crew members onboard skidded off the runway at the Calicut Airport in Kerala on Friday evening. For more, watch the full video.
