Misbah-Ul-Haq has broke his silence on his team’s three-wicket loss to England in Manchester in the first Test. Pakistan put the home side under pressure for the most part of the game; however, the partnership between Jos Buttler and Chris Woakes in the fourth innings was the turning point. Misbah-Ul-Haq lamented Pakistan’s timid display while defending 277.

पाकिस्तान को इंग्लैंड के हाथों हार का सामना करना पड़ा. तीन विकेटों से इंग्लैंड ने पाकिस्तान को हरा दिया. और इस जीत के सबसे बड़े हीरो क्रिस वोक्स और जोस बटलर रहे. जिन्होंने अर्धशतकीय पारी खेली. साथ ही इंग्लैंड की जीत की नींव रखी. उधर, पाकिस्तान एक जीता हुआ मैच अपने हाथ से जाने दिया और इस हार के बाद पाकिस्तान के हेड कोच मिस्बाह उल हक़ भड़क उठे हैं. मिस्बाह ने कहा, ‘‘हम काफी निराश है कि हमने इंग्लैंड के पांच विकेट झटकने के बाद उन्हें वापसी का मौका दिया. बटलर और वोक्स ने जिस तरह से हमारे गेंदबाजों पर जवाबी हमला किया, वह बहुत ही शानदार था.’’
