This group of surfers had an incredible close encounter with a southern right whale and her calf, who swam close to shore at the popular Manly Beach in New South Wales, Australia.
The stunning drone footage, captured by Dutch couple, Thom and Lianne (@whatifwefly_) on August 2, shows the mother whale swinging her tail towards some surfers in a bid to protect her calf.
