국방부 "북한 핵탄두 소형화 능력, 상당한 수준에 이른 것으로 평가"

Seoul's defense ministry has confirmed related information regarding North Korea's high level of development of miniaturized nuclear devices... adding it has been monitoring the regime closely with the U.S.
Citing a confidential report drawn up by an independent panel of experts monitoring UN sanctions,... Reuters had reported that several unidentified countries... believe North Korea developed the devices through its past six nuclear tests.
The devices can straddle the warheads of the North's ballistic missiles.
The report said one of the countries assessed the North may seek further miniaturization development in order to develop multiple warhead systems.
Reuters says the report was submitted to the UN Security Council North Korea sanctions committee on Monday.
