S. Korean gov't, ruling DP to roll out plans on boosting housing supply to stabilize real estate prices

The South Korean government and the ruling Democratic Party are set to roll out additional plans on increasing housing supply to stabilize the overheating real estate market.
The plans will likely entail easing construction rules to supply more homes in the metropolitan area,... including measures to enable apartment block to contain more housing units by raising the residential floor area ratio.
Supplying some 150-thousand additional homes in Seoul are also likely to be included in the new plans.
The government says it hopes to supply more houses to young people and couple not yet on the property ladder.
