State capture inquiry to hear PRASA-related testimony
  • 4 years ago
The state capture inquiry is expected to hear more PRASA-related testimony today. Judge Tintswalo Annah Makhubele is expected to take the stand. She did not show up on the 24th of July and asked for a last minute postponement. Commission Chair, Justice Raymond Zondo, issued a directive for her to file an affidavit and to appear on the 3rd of August. Makhubele is facing allegations of gross misconduct before the Judicial Services Commission linked to her time as chair of the PRASA board. It relates to her involvement and alleged interference in litigation with one of the company's suppliers, Siyaya Rail Regulators.
