SCOPA wants disaster act revisited

The Standing Committee on Public Accounts believes the Disaster Management Act needs to be revisited. Chair Mkhuleko Hlengwa says it cannot be the sole guideline, without the input of Parliament. Hlengwa was responding to corruption claims involving COVID-19 relief funds.
