Zahid- Umno wont join PN formally, but still with PN govt

Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the party has decided against formally joining the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.

In a statement today, he said his party will focus on strengthening its pact with PAS instead.

Elaborating, Zahid said Umno and PAS will discuss Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin’s request for Bersatu to be a part of Muafakat Nasional.
