MS Swaminathan said, contract farming will be beneficial only when it is made farmer centric. In the midst of the ongoing war against the Coronavirus, the Modi government at the Center talked about several reforms related to agriculture and also brought three agricultural ordinances for this. During the lockdown, the central government also announced a large economic package, a large part of which was given to the agricultural sector.

कोरोना वायरस से जारी जंग के बीच केंद्र की मोदी सरकार ने कृषी से जुड़े कई सुधार की बात कही और इसके लिए तीन कृषि अध्यादेश भी लाई. लॉकडाउन के दौरान केंद्र सरकार ने बड़े आर्थिक पैकेज का ऐलान भी किया जिसका एक बड़ा हिस्सा कृषि क्षेत्र को दिया गया.
