The situation in Assam and Bihar has become serious due to the floods. About 37 lakh people in both states are affected by the floods. Floods have caused maximum destruction in Assam. असम और बिहार में बाढ से स्थिति गंभीर बनी हुयी है. दोनों राज्यों में करीब 37 लाख लोग बाढ़ से प्रभावित है. बाढ़ ने सबसे ज्यादा तबाही असम में मचाई है. जहां 33 जिलों में 27 लाख लोग बुरी तरह से प्रभावित हैं. वहीं 100 से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत हो गई है. वहीं, बिहार में करीब 10 लाख लोग बाढ़ से प्रभावित हुए हैं.
