The festival of Nagpanchami is being celebrated all over India today. Madhya Pradesh is also not untouched by this. A year later, Friday midnight was opened for Pat Nagpanchami of Lord Nagachandreshwar Temple, located at the top of Jyotirlinga Mahakal Temple. After this, Lord Nagachandreshwar was worshiped in the presence of Mahantarvani Akhara Mahant Vineetagiriji Maharaj. Devotees have not been allowed to enter the temple for the first time in 300 years due to Corona infection. The priest told that the common people should not have any problem in worshiping, so online darshan has also been arranged.

नागपंचमी का पर्व आज पूरे भारत वर्ष में मनाया जा रहा है. मध्य प्रदेश भी इससे अछूता नहीं है. ज्योतिर्लिंग महाकाल मंदिर के शीर्ष पर स्थित भगवान नागचंद्रेश्वर मंदिर के पट नागपंचमी के लिए एक साल बाद शुक्रवार मध्यरात्रि खोले गए। इसके बाद महानिर्वाणी अखाड़े के महंत विनीतगिरीजी महाराज की मौजूदगी में भगवान नागचंद्रेश्वर की पूजा-अर्चना की गई।कोरोना संक्रमण के चलते 300 साल में पहली बार भक्तों को मंदिर में प्रवेश नहीं दिया गया है। पुजारी ने बताया कि आम लोगों को पूजा-अर्चना में दिक्कत न हो, इसलिए ऑनलाइन दर्शन की भी व्यवस्था की गई है.
