Big Bollywood Stars To Be Questioned By Police In Fake Followers Scam

Big Bollywood celebrities like Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra may soon be questioned by Mumbai Police in relation to the fake social media followers scam. A total of 176 high profile accounts of Bollywood celebs and sports personalities are under the radar of police. This also includes Virat Kohli who is the most followed Indian on Instagram. He currently has 69.5 million followers. He is followed by Priyanka Chopra who enjoys 55.2 million followers as of now. On no. 3 is Shraddha Kapoor with 51.1 million followers and Deepika with 50.8 million. According to the reports, Mumbai Police has stated that they have found around 54 firms who have a hand in the fake social media followers scam. A Crime Branch and the Cyber Cell has been formed in order to provide assistance in the investigation of this scam. A man has also been arrested in the case.
