A visit to the Costa da Vela is not complete without tasting the amazing local seafood!

This village boasts for some of the best and freshest seafood on the Galician Rias Baixas Coast. A must-try are the Percebes (Gooseneck Barnacles) a delicacy and the most expensive seafood due to it being very dangerous to chisel off the rocky coastline outcrops. Many Percerberos have died when trying to get out to the best areas where the waves come crashing in. There is some much variety to choose from when it comes to seafood in Galicia - Spain!
