South Korea's economy is showing signs of a rebound in consumption...but the pandemic continues to hammer local exports and production.
In its monthly economic report on Friday, the finance ministry painted a somewhat POSITIVE picture of the local economy compared to its June report.
The ministry attributed the rise in consumption to the country's economic measures including relief funds and spending coupons.
However, the report noted... uncertainties remain high in the real economy... mainly due to the pandemic weakening global demand.
